This is an older, beautiful church. I was here for the funeral of a very dear friend and saw many old friends and former students that I had taught. This was my first time in this church, even though I have known the pastor for 25+ years. People were very friendly. They made me feel very welcome, even at a funeral service. I could feel the Spirit of God moving during the service.
Great people who love God and the community. The pastor is an awesome man of God and does alot for the community as well as the congregation. I've attended here for years. Not as often as I should. I especially enjoyed a mission trip to West Virginia back in 2012. I got more from the fellowship and work than the work I put in. I would visit this church if your looking for good fellowship and the best most welcoming congregation anywhere. Great message as well! I'm thankful for Sandy springs!
