Your first appointment was scheduled by a scheduling team on a weekend and I was unaware of your scheduled appointment due to it being scheduled on a weekend. Be assured, I have alerted my practice manager of this issue and hopefully this problem will be resolved going forward. Your second appointment was scheduled for 9 AM. You were asked to arrive 15 minutes early (8:45 AM) for the check-in process. It is true that I was running behind that morning and I alerted the front desk staff to inform you of this. It is quite reasonable for you to be discouraged regarding your appointment with me, especially since both of your scheduled appointments had the same outcome (if for different reasons). This is not typical of UNCPN service and it is not typical of my work ethic. I strive to be punctual, accountable, thorough and caring in all my patient interactions. May this be my first, and prayerfully my last, time that a patient of mine experiences this issue. Once again, I offer my deepest apology.
