Carfix Auto Repair & Tires Garner

I thought I had a serpentine belt issue and I did but the main problem happened to be that the harmonic balancer was messed up which is what they found upon their inspection, this caused some pulleys to shift which cut my serpentine belt. I called right when they opened and filled them in on what I thought was going on and told them I was having the car towed to them. They have a great system where they text you updates and ask if you approve the work to be done and their inspection was incredibly thorough even including pictures. I spoke mostly with Jacob and Ivan and they were really friendly and helpful. The cutest thing happened when I was leaving, they have custom teddy bears and they knew I had two kiddos and sent me home with two bears for them which they of course loved. The best part of all of this is they have a few financing lenders they work with so it makes these big unexpected expenses a little easier to handle.

I had a prompt, courteous experience with Ivan who set my appointment and scheduled me for the courtesy shuttle to work. Photos were sent of the findings and an estimate for additional work was explained and recommendations were made.
The shuttle driver gave me first class treatment from the drive to work and picking me up after work to return to the Carfix store.
The car runs better than before and mileage has increased from before the service was performed. I am delighted to recommend the Garner Carfix to anyone who appreciates a courteous, competitive and competent shop!

Everyone was really nice! They put in all of the coupons they could, even offer a free “shuttle” to pick you up and drop off if you need, they send pictures of the issues with your car and go over everything in detail for there’s no shadiness. They were able to get me in the next day too! I’ll be using them every time.
