Flower Hill Nature Preserve

Nice short, beautiful hike. Can't wait to go back when the rhododendrons are blooming!

Great trail. The farther sections can be difficult. Technically challenging on a mountain bike.Trail leads to a shallow creek/river.

A small slice of the mountains plopped down in Johnston County. The trail winds along a steep ridge where Catawba rhododendrons grow. As you follow the trail, there's a steep descent to a creekside area. Although there's just this one descent, it may remind you of trails in the mountains. The only knock is the location is tiny and there's no sign to show when you have crossed onto private property.

A nice woodsey walking trail. It has some hills & is not paved. A good trail to get some fresh air.
