Was super busy on a Sunday at 1:30pm so service was alittle slower but the food was fantastic and the portions were HUGE! Will absolutely be back
I've been in the restaurant business 30 plus years and it's once in a great blue moon that I enjoy eating out at restaurants. I highly enjoy the food here unfortunately the employees leave a little to be desired. While dining in as a family of six we asked for my mother-in-law's pasta (that comes with her meal) to be on a separate plate with no sauce. The facial expressions we received from the wait staff was like we had asked them to move mountains and then were charged $8 to not put spaghetti sauce on the spaghetti. I've never seen a customer (in all my 30+ years) being charged for withholding food. This wasn't a "split charge" either as not one of us was willing to share any of our meals with each other.
On top of the fact that this is the first Italian restaurant that I've ever been to that doesn't include in some portion of the meal with either rolls, oil and garlic or a salad. Very basic service not shocking for this area. Poor ownership/managerial skills but who ever they have in the kitchen is doing something right.
Won't frequent as often due to staff and charges but will be back as long as they keep their kitchen running smoothly. 🍝
Deecent pizza place in a small-town community; olive garden meets sports bar. Food was pretty good. We had the grandma pizza and the lasagna. The pizza was fine, but the crust was a little on the chewy and tough side. It also seemed that it had not been made fresh, but had been warmed up upon order. It was not bad, but would probably be better fresh. The lasagna was good, but needed a little more seasoning. Service was prompt and pleasant. While I cannot fault a restaurant for its customers, the layout of the restaurant seemed to amplify the sound of the multiple screaming children, making it difficult to enjoy the experience. Might return, but probably only for takeout.
Walking in I noticed that this restaurant is Italian food Staten Island style. Being a Staten Island boy myself I was very excited to try the food here.
Everything was exceptional, the chef even came into the changes I desired. The wait staff was top-notch and the owner was very very friendly, this is going to be my go-to Italian place from now on.
Anthony the owner, did Staten Island proud!
