My family and I were on the search for a comfortable midway point to stop and sleep on our drive from Boston to Orlando recently. We generally book Hilton as I am a high tier reward member, however my daughter suggested we try to locate something a bit ‘different’. She found this property in Smithfield NC, which was not far off of I-95 with character. After a quick check with the entire family we decided to contact the manager to book a stay. Sade was very responsive and professional on the phone. I must say here hospitality was on point. On very short notice the property was available and ready for us. We arrived to a pleasant surprise as we entered the property tucked on a quite rural road. we quickly utilized the code provided and accessed the home and were pleasantly greeted with a well appointed, inviting property. The full kitchen was very convenient, the living room was just like home and the large master room with with tub was very nice. We travel with our two golden retrievers and they couldn’t be more pleased with the large yard which allowed them to stretch and run around. The waffle maker and light breakfast items fully sold us. We eventually requested an extra night stay and the gracious manager was able to accommodate us. We have found our mid point for our annual Florida trip, and I can hold on to those Hilton points!!
