Smithfield Pulmonology: Mir Mumtaz Ali MD

Dr. Ali has to be one of the most thorough doctors I have ever visited. He spent 30+ minutes with me gathering information so that he could make the most informed diagnosis possible. It seems these days that quantity supercedes quality in most areas, not with Dr. Ali. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of pulmonary care. Kathy also has a great personality, she handled all the testing and documents.

I would like to say its a great staff they really care for me and goes way beyond tasks helps all they can. Dr. Ali is great with me and explains clearly and so I can understand. If you need a Pulmonology doctor and a great stall go see them their great. Thank you for all you'all do. RWT

Dr. Ali is everything you could want in a doctor. If you like the way doctors used to be, where you are a patient and not just a insurance claim, this is the doctor for you. Not at any moment did I feel like he was about to leave or like he didn't care. After over a hour of genuine conversation with me and my problem, he was still there (in no rush at all) listening and still asking more questions medically and personally. If he practiced as a general doctor you wouldn't be able to get an appointment, because he would be such the preferred primary physician. He is the most humble, caring, genuine, and personable doctor I've ever seen. I would recommend him strongly! And I can't leave out Kathy who also works there. She is just as awesome! It was an ALL around wonderful experience. Amazed to find there are some GREAT old school doctors still practicing. Good to be a patient again, not a claim number!

Dr. Mir Ali is the best in Pulmonary medicine! He is kind, caring, knowledgeable and extremely thorough during office visits and after care. I have never experienced the care and concern AND correct diagnosis that Dr. Ali offered. I’m so grateful! Plus Kathy, his assistant is FABULOUS!! Love, love, love them!
