(June 20, 2022, 4:54 am)This place saved me in extreme despair bouncing from 30 day shelters with $0 to afford even the bus with two other branches turning me down completely for food stamps. There was actually a discussion here about my situation versus in Downtown LA guy was eating a cake and looking at screen while listening to me in one ear then went to talk to his manager came back with basically 'nope, this is the policy - take care'. Missing crucial detail this DPSS picked up on. Its not always peaches here, but what matters most is when it works out, its a relief. And I'm writing this as I'm preparing for life's next roller coaster.
