“I got my human hair extensions done at another salon by going off of a referral from another person with not much research on my end, believe me, that will NEVER happen again! Within 1.5 wks, 3rd shampoo later I noticed there were several that were already unraveling and hanging on by a thread...this was NOT my first rodeo so I knew this was not normal. As you could imagine, I was devastated after the investment of the extensions and also the 12 hours of the incorrect install for the labor that already went into these. I immediately contacted Michael with Dr. Lockstar to set up a consult and he immediately booked me the next day (on his week off for his b-day) to do a major repair by removing all 50 loc extensions and doing a major overhaul repair on my head beginning with the roots that were also completely jacked up and then he did the install the correct way for all 50 of my loc extensions. I recommend Dr. Lockstar to anyone looking for perm loc extensions, maintenance, or repairs. He is more than knowledgeable and gives you all the info you need to take care of your locs & investment to give them the best love and attention possible. I am not just lucky but I'm so grateful to have met such an inspirational and artistic person. After the traumatic experience in the beginning I am now ready to begin my journey with my locs and to have someone I respect like Michael helping me along the way. He will be the only one I will ever trust to be touching these babies. You will not regret your experience with Michael. “I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised how well my haircut went. My normal slyest was on vacation. So took a chance and came in as a walk-in. Ms. April cut my har. I have to say, she is very meticulous in getting it right. She asked several questions as to how I like it. I did a scissors cut. She wipes down all her tools to make sure not C-19. I was greeted immediately and didn't have to wait long at all. My stylist was Ali and she was AMAZING! Not only was she welcoming, but she was very personable and attentive. She asked me a bunch of questions about my hair before getting started -- which I appreciated since my hair is very tousled and not a lot of stylists know how to tackle a bed head like mine. I came in set on a color idea, but Ali gave me a color better than the one I had chosen before. I will definitely be returning in the future!”
