Dr. O'Hara and his magnificent team saved the life of my special boy tonight! We made a terrible mistake and allowed our 120 lbs mastiff mix to play with a small ball. Tank got the ball stuck in his throat. This team of miracle workers was able to extract it and save his life just in time. I couldn't be more grateful that they gave us more time with our Terrific Tankerton Tummybear! Thank you. May God bless every person at this clinic.
I had a terrible accident with my baby girl Bella Daisy. She had already passed before we arrived at Denver Animal emergency but they took such amazing care of her and I once we arrived. This was my first ever visit and I know I chose the right place to go with her. The girls there are so kind and supportive. I could tell just how much they cared even though they didn't know us. I will be forever grateful to all of the staff there that helped and supported me through this awful time.. I couldn't tell them while I was there, but thank you so much. For everything! Bella Daisy was/is my best friend and biggest support system, and you all made me fell as if I wasn't so alone that night. I can't say thank you enough
Denver Animal Emergency has been amazing each time we’ve had to use them. Fairly new to this area and having an emergency vet down the street is great but this one is the best service and care I’ve ever experienced. We’ve used them twice now for one of our fur babies. We brought our sweet baby Nola in this weekend in the middle of the night and even though she didn’t end up making it, Dr. Clark was very compassionate and talked to us about our options and never tried to rush us. She let us take the time we needed with our girl and gave us a sense of peace during the whole situation. The memorial paw and wooden urn we got back were also super nice and all of the staff has been wonderful during our whole grieving process. We will definitely take our other dog here if needed and will recommend them to anyone.
They did a great job with my dog who needed emergency surgery to remove a foreign body from her stomach. I've seen the negative reviews and I don't think they're warranted. I called EIGHT different ERs in the Charlotte metro area because no one else was taking pets as they were over capacity. When I called, they told me there was a 6-8 hour wait. I was more than willing to wait in my car for that amount of time because we were having a true emergency. People need to be more patient. I sat and watched as more critical pets were taken before us, as they should be. The staff is great and they were doing everything they could with limited resources. As for the comments about the cost, they are an emergency room, not a low cost clinic. It was expensive, but I thought it was very reasonable for the services they provide. I was expecting it to be a lot more. It is not their fault if people don't want to wait or pay for their visit. Get pet insurance if you don't want to find yourself in an emergency situation you can't or don't want to pay for, don't blame the staff.
