“Wish I could give 3.5. Long story short; awesome product and great price for the service but the back end follow through has been a little rough. Also, be sure to have someone at home to monitor the project... If you want details: The difference between a 5 and a 3 for me is the degree I've had to manage my own project. The contracted installer began installing our flooring over top of the existing floors, which I had to catch debate, and then push for it to be done properly with the subcontracted installer. I'm glad I was at home to observe. Not being an expert, that was a very stressful conversation. Later, speaking to James he affirmed that removal was the right way to go (and what we paid for) contrary to the contractor's push the other way. The project looks great now but we are still, 2 months post project waiting for James final inspection which was promised during install..... For people that work from home or have to ability to be home during install, I highly recommend FCI. For those that do not have the time to be intimately involved, be sure to go over the work order in detail with all parties before construction begins and double-check to be sure the contract matches the work order.”
