I just wanted to say I got a husky mix from here and I thought it was going to be hard with an adult dog but he was so well trained and he is a cuddler. He makes no messes in the house and doesn’t chew things. He has been a blessing to my family and I don’t know what we would have done without him. He’s my best friend and is the best dog, couldn’t have asked for more! I really think anyone reading this should consider you really do change the dogs life and they change yours. I should say when I got him no one wanted him because he looked depressed in there and had no personality but within a week he was full of Energy and is playful. He is so much happier now and is great with kids and other dogs. So go check this place out seriously.
Bella "Bessie" is a great joy to us. Love at first sight and a phenomenal employee spent over 2.5 hours researching about her puppies had found their forever homes.
If you're looking for a pet to add to your home, look no further. Their staff are very kind and helpful and their animals are looking for loving homes. I've adopted my pit from them and my family is so happy to have her in our lives. She is a wonderful addition to our family.
They actually do a great job trying to care for and adopt out their animals. If you research them you will find they have a very low kill rate (don't blame them- blame the people that think animals are disposable toys or things and don't train or care for them). The staff and kennel workers are always friendly amd really know about the animals they care for. They have a vet on site and a very active volunteer program. One of the best uses of my tax money.
I got home and found a little puppy at my house so I put her up in my backyard and she had fresh food and water and one around the neighborhood putting up flyers and then I met a lady that knew the dog she said it belonged to the people across the street so I took her over there to them and I thought everything was okay the following morning I go to check on the dog she's tied up in the sun on the front porch no food no water nothing so the guy told me I can have her if I wanted her and I've got one dog already I can't have anymore but the people at the Humane Society were awesome.
I had one ladies tell me that they could have adopted out that little dog four times that day
It was definitely a happy ending
