  Dr. Gifford and his staff are extremely professional and caring. My husband and I have been seeing him for years. They helped put my 5 year old daughter at ease when she needed to be seen and worked us in quickly. We are so thankful to have found Dr. Gifford and plan to use his practice for years to come.

  I called early this morning because of an issue I was having with my eye. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful and worked me in the same day. When I got to the office, again - both of the receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. I did not have to wait long at all especially for being a work-in. Dr. Gifford is definitely one of the best eye doctors I have ever been to. He is very thorough and listens to everything you say. He is very personable as well which is a hard to find combo. Can’t say enough good things about this office! I highly recommend!

  Vision Care Associates was the first eye doctor I've called that answered the phone in a professional and welcoming tone, the girl was super nice and polite.
  I have a appointment Scheduled soon for my son.
  They also not judging by what kind of insurance you have and treat everyone the same.
  You guys keep the good work and thank you for your great service.

  Vision Care Associates was the first eye doctor I've called that answered the phone in a professional and welcoming tone, (I called 11 different eye doctors). Everyone else replied to the "do you take my insurance" question like they've heard it countless times a day- which to be fair could be accurate, but working in the customer service industry, you can't show the annoyance in your voice. The girls in the front of the office were incredibly welcoming not only on the phone but also in person. The Tech who tested, dilated, and photographed my eyes was incredibly welcoming and relatable. Dr. Gifford, the Optometrist, was very patient, informative, and friendly. Not many doctors keep you posted on everything they do and explain things as they're doing them. I highly recommend this location over the 11 other eye care facilities in Charlotte who shall not be named!

  We were helped immediately when we walked in. I filled out a minimal amount of paperwork, then an assistant tested every aspect of my daughter's vision. Many of them were tailored to kids. I even noticed they put eye drops beside her eye and let her blink them in so it wasn't a shock. Both the Mark and the assistant made my daughter feel comfortable the whole time. He gave us a prescription that was light and told her to use them for reading but if she felt like she could see better, she could use them all the time. We don't have vision insurance but it only cost us $99 for the exam. Vision works is in the same building and they have 2 pairs of glasses for $99 deal for kids under 13. We had been waiting 4 weeks for an appointment at Horizon eye care down the street, but Vision Care Associates had plenty of availability for appointments and we had glasses the next day. Total cost with glasses was about the cost of just the exam at Horizon Eye Care. My daughter loves her glasses and sure enough, my she likes to wear them all the time. We will be back again.
