  Our children have been at Keystone Montessori School since 2015. We love the school and the friendly and supportive staff. The classrooms are beautifully prepared, and the materials spark so much interest in the children. The Montessori philosophy is to “follow the child.” The teachers are very in tune with the children, and always ready to help my children follow their interests in a way that helps each of them love to learn and to develop as a person. The level of classwork is just the right amount of challenging, engaging, and fun. In the primary class the children get a lot of practice with learning how to move about the room, using grace and courtesy with others, and learning self-control and patience. In the elementary class there is more group work and learning how to get along with others and how take care of one’s self. Throughout the school you see children having confidence in themselves and growing into independent learners. The school also has get-togethers, community service activities, and parent education opportunities to bring the families together. We are very pleased with our experience at Keystone Montessori School.

  Our family has had the privilege of being a part of the Keystone community for almost 5 years. We have a five-year-old boy in children’s house and an eight-year-old girl in the elementary class. Our children have thrived there, and blossomed before our eyes. They are exposed to a wide range of concepts and skills that they’re granted the opportunity to master at their own pace and when they are developmentally ready. This has positively cultivated their self-image and given them a genuine love for learning. Our family has encountered some personal struggles over the past few years (as families do), which we have been able to face and even overcome with the unwavering support and encouragement of the Keystone community. I learn so much myself as a mother/person from the parent education opportunities the school provides and just through the influence of the Montessori principles that comes through in my interactions with the Keystone faculty and my own children. Keystone has truly been a cornerstone in the upbringing of our children!
