  Y'all listen, I met a friend here on a whim for a last minute lunch and I had to write a review before I could even leave. Best tacos on Southend for sure, hands down. Possibly my favorite in the city. I love a good Lengua taco and by God I've never had one as good as this one. Not only that but the way they cook the meats it slightly chars a bit of marinade giving it an extra layer of flavor. Everyone is wonderfully kind and it's a relaxed atmosphere, all good things take time and I'm willing to wait for these.

  Festive, colorful decor, with friendly table service, then pay at the counter. This place was busy with families and coworkers for lunch when we visited.
  
  They offer $2 tasty tacos and other inexpensive Mexican favorites! I like the $7 huaraches--fried oval Masa corn meal topped with your choice of meat, plus onions, cheese, and avocado slices. One fills an entire plate!
  
  We even picked up a cup of flan for $2.50 while we were paying the bill!

  Don’t let the appearance put you off...this place is legit and good as...input whatever comparative adjective or phrase here. Delicious! I was in the mood for some crispy tacos but I noticed the photo of the nachos online. Drove over and ordered them vegetarian style. Took about 10 minutes to get my order. I opened the box on my way back to work and they looked so good I couldn’t resist, so I tried one...and then two...and well, you know how this story ends. Salsa? Authentic. I’m Mexican, I’m a southern Cali native, trust me. No need to be on the fence, just do yourself a favor and go here.

  Food is good. Fresh made when you order. That’s why it takes a bit longer than expected. You have to pay at the cash register upfront which takes time during lunch time. I’ll definitely come back.
