I've been coming from out of town (Washington State originally, now from Asheville) for about 4 years now and I plan to do so for decades to come. There is no other culture like FTF's - practical self defense, effective martial arts and omnipresent fitness challenges contained in an ever-evolving program that works for individuals of all levels. FTF is a treasure in the martial arts/self defense world, and is one of the most honest and hard working organizations I've ever encountered.

I’ve been at FTF for almost 2 years now. I love it. It’s an amazing family environment. Everyone gets treated like they belong, all of the coaches and I literally mean all of the coaches are willing to spend time with you to help with ANYTHING!! From something as small as a conversation to a new technique. It’s an amazing environment. 5 star all day.

FTF is an extremely welcoming family! They offer a variety of self-defense training for everyone from beginners to blackbelts and welcome women and adolescents with open arms. Speaking from experience, it can be very intimidating entered this type of gym as a novice female, but FTF has the most welcoming staff, instructors, and owners. It's the perfect training opportunity to build skills, strength, and self confidence in a positive, family friendly environment.
