Such an amazing community of caring people with refreshing ideas. They're completely welcoming of everyone and offer tons of opportunities to join in social justice, music, outdoor activities, and so much more. And the choir is amazing!
Our social group booked their hall for an event. Nice venue, plenty of space.
I always love singing there. John, Pastor Jay and the UUCC family always make me feel welcome!!
Hi my name is Erica Sutton
Me and my three kids live in a shelter. The shelter here the staff are rude and disrespectful.. The resident run all throught the night when everybody should be sleeping. The people go outside with there kids at night around eight to ten all yell by out window s the staff does not do anything just sit in the office. You can make a complaint but they wont tell them to quite down... They let them run and make all type of noise. Through the night and the just laught the staff do not care.
A great church, in my experience.
I visited UU of Charlotte while traveling to see family, and it proved to be the highlight of my trip. The building itself was handsome and majestic, with a pleasant atmosphere to the grounds in general; the interior, too, was attractive and welcoming. Likewise, the staff were friendly, and cheerfully directed me where to go. As for the service, it was equally thoughtful, with superb production, meaningful discussion, and impressive, appropriate music.
Though, while all this was enjoyable enough, for me the most meaningful element was this: that I sensed truth there, and of a rare, powerful kind, seen as much in the subtle energies of the gathering as much as in the service's collective sentiments. Consequently, I left feeling spiritually nourished, for which I am deeply grateful.
So, my thanks goes out to everybody at UU of Charlotte, for providing for me in this manner during my travels. Keep up the good job :-)
