After the quiet chaos of this year, our family has realized how fortunate we are to have been a part of the Futures Academy for several years. While students fell behind in a public system where neither they nor their instructors had experience with that format, Futures transitioned seamlessly, since online learning was already integral to their system.
I can’t speak highly enough about one-to-one learning.
Concentrated interaction with an instructor, one-on-one, has instilled our student with a confidence to think and speak freely and with conviction. Continuing with those instructors in online instruction has instilled in him a sense of responsibility, self reliance and self confidence. The administration team and the faculty are committed to “knowing” each student and to assuring their “individual”success.
We’re extremely grateful to have found Futures at a time when the public school system had let us down in a number of ways... but even more grateful now that we’ve experienced this year of continued success, while the public system has failed its mission.

Futures at Carlsbad has changed the lives of all 4 of my teenagers. Where they lacked motivation and confidence from a large oppressive public school they now feel joy and confidence from a more intimate, supportive yet engaging environment. I can’t say enough positive things. I highly recommend this program if you want to know your child is engaged, motivated and learning in a highly customized and compassionate program. It will help them reveal their passions and personalities.

My son has been excelling in advanced math since stating at Halstrom Carlsbad. We couldn't more pleased with his progress. The teachers and entire staff are extremely helpful and we feel valued which makes the experience even better.
