Mother Nature Academy LLC

This is our 4th yr with a child at Mother Nature Academy. We are already signed up for next yr. All 3 of my children have loved the teachers and setup. They have all learned so much while still being outside. Ms Laura and Ms. CC teach the children how to treat each other, how to make friends and how to love nature all while still improving fine motor skills, math concepts and letter recognition. These teachers want what is best of the kids in their care and it shows!!

My daughter began going to Mother Nature Academy when they first opened. My daughter was only 2.5 at the time and I was nervous about sending her to preschool. In the end, it was one of the best parenting decisions I have made. My son began Mother Nature when he was about 3. He has loved it since day one. This school is an extension of our family. The teachers are loving, engaged, and experienced. The kiddos receive the perfect blend of free-time, time outdoors, and academically-driven hands-on time with the teachers. Kids get to learn about things like the life cycle of a butterfly, the water cycle, weather, and plants/seeds. The outdoor spaces are well thought-out and the toys are high quality. The kids get a lot of exercise and attention. This is a very safe and loving environment. Your kid will receive a lot of enrichment. My kids both learned how to write their names here, along with learning the alphabet, etc.... These teachers are exceptional communicators. I received a wonderful newsletter each month along with individual report "cards" each "semester" for each kid.

Absolutely the best! We toured multiple outdoor preschools and no other program could compare to the quality of learning, quantity of experiences, or genuine fun that takes place at Mother Nature Academy. Our daughter is so excited for the start of every school day and equally excited as she tells us about all the fun she had while she was there. As parents, we are thrilled our daughter is in an environment which makes learning fun and surrounds her with incredible teachers, friends, and unique experiences. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this program! We are so grateful to have found Mother Nature Academy!

My son has attended here for a couple of years and we could not be happier! The teachers are calm, kind, loving, and yet firm. The atmosphere when you visit is always truly special. The kids are excited to learn, everyone is working together and not fighting for their turn.
Being outside all morning is so good for my sweet boy. His favorite part is sitting on the swing overlooking the pond, and I can’t blame him.
It’s a beautiful school and has been an incredible blessing to us. I would recommend it to everyone! (I live in Southern Pines and the drive is worth it!)

My son has been attending MNA for several months now and I couldn't be happier. Every day he comes home covered in dirt, happy as can be, and thrilled to share what he's learned. This is not a traditional preschool experience- it's far better in my opinion. The educational philosophy is true Montessori, learning through play, outdoors, in nature. The teachers are nurturing and passionate about the learning environment they have worked hard to create. It's thrilling to see my son flourish, learn and grow in a place where his natural curiosity is encouraged. I truly feel my family is so fortunate to participate in this unique educational experience.
