(September 1, 2022, 10:27 pm)Beautiful place to visit with a lot of history! Recommend to anyone who is looking for place to take pictures. It’s free to visit and we took our photos at after hours. But please give donations, buy something at the gift shop and be respectful to help theses places like this survive.
(May 14, 2022, 6:07 pm)Fantastic history here. Take the tour, it's 2 bucks! They have a reenactment every year on the anniversary of the original skirmish that draws 3500 people. Plus, they do holiday lighting and other things. A must see! Frank was super knowledgeable and friendly.
(May 14, 2022, 5:24 pm)This is an awesome step into our country's past. Frank is an awesome source of knowledge and delightful to speak to. We weren't able to make the tour time and plan to go back in order to see some upcoming events. The museum is small but full of interesting facts and information. Clean well maintained grounds, perfect setting for a picnic with a few picnic tables. The ladies in the gift shop are very nice, friendly and knowledgeable as well. If you are in the are don't pass this up.
(July 4, 2021, 9:26 am)Beautiful old farmstead. Recommend coming on one of the 2 per day guided tours, otherwise it's just locked up. Beautiful shaded grounds. Museum was closed but welcome center/gift shop was open.
