(August 20, 2021, 12:45 am)This little gem of natural beauty is a few minutes from the city of Durham In the state of North Carolina. It is an easy hike even for small children. This trail has a small creek running down, it is a true beauty of a Nature Preserve. If you are ever in the area make sure to stop by and take a little stroll.

(July 10, 2021, 12:06 pm)One of my favorite trails due to its location near a body of water (for my dogs to cool off in). Since the pandemic however everyone and their friends have discovered this gem and anytime during the day you'll find it difficult to get a parking spot. The mosquitoes are ridiculous too.

Unfortunately many others learned about it during the pandemic so and now the parking lots are very busy all the time, but the trails are still mostly empty. Great variety of features in a short distance: falls fields, woods, and creeks. Must wear bug spray and shoes that can get muddy!
