“Tucked away behind an old antique shop is a coffee cabin with plenty of open air seating and beautiful views of the NC forest. Grab a coffee/tea and a pastry and head on down the trail to your secluded coffee zen. Covered seating and heaters are available for the heat and the cold. I went in mid autumn and it couldn't have been more picturesque. The coffee was good and the pastries were fine if a bit stale. I will definitely be coming back here.”

“Best experience at the Tarheel Pharmacy. Wanted to get my covid booster before travel cross country but no availability at all the bigger drugstores in town. I called here and they said they would be happy to give me the vaccine and to come in anytime while they were open. The paperwork was easy and quick, the people who work there were all friendly and efficient, and the pharmacist gave me my immunization within a few minutes of my arrival. “Very convenient store but I got Diesel fuel at this location recently. Sorry to say that it had water in the fuel. While the attendants did not seem interested the owner responded to the Google post and took care of everything. He was very nice and had already addressed the water issue in several ways. “They covered my great grandmothers couch, 2 chairs and my old comfortable recliner. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the finished product! High quality workmanship! Every detail was obtained. Even the hundreds of little tacks outlining the arm of the chair. They picked up the furniture from 3 different locations and brought it back to one with a fun, great attitude and many smiles and laughter. I can’t say enough about these people! “Dave has personally helped us before with best price options and having on-hand tough to find and costly medications but today was beyond! My folks planning a visit here; issues with a prescription renewal in their hometown came up. I told her to call Dave and perhaps she could pick up the prescription here. Dave spent 15 minutes on the phone with my mother trying to solve something for her. She called me and openly wept. Never has a pharmacist taken the time to do something like this. They allow the student to be independently creative and encourage many extra curricular activities. Oh and and the guidance/ss staff is understanding and kind. “Relaxing... edit: Unless it's Saturday.... Mon-Fri you can come here for all sorts of activities and information. The women who work here Mon-Fri are kind and helpful and informative, and will guide you towards areas of interest onsite and off. However the lady who works here on Saturday will treat you as if you need a hall pass to enter, and will question you beyond the point of impolite to rudeness on where you are going and for what reason, with that tone. Perhaps she was a guard in the penile system before working here? Today when I enetered she told me a man was in the bathroom, and I did not really need nor desire this information. I am not sure why she questions people like she does or why she tells other people what you are doing, I find it odd.”
