My Mother went to Elizabeth City Health and Rehab after sustaining a broken back. The nursing team was amazing, Angie is exceptional. The nurse assistants took wonderful care of her. The physical and occupational therapist rehabilitated to a level of functioning that allows her to live independently, I can not say enough good things about them. House keeping keeps the facility very clean and is friendly. The visiting nurse practitioners addressed symptoms immediately. I am giving them only 4 stars because the food, about 75% of the time was not eatable and sometimes we were unable to identify what it was. If you can bring or order food this is the perfect place for your loved ones.

My mother was at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation after having extensive back surgery. Her aids Michelle and Robin took amazing care of her. The therapy team was top notch. When it was time for discharge they sat down with us and explained everything in detail as to what to expect when she got home and how to prepare the house for her when she got there. She enjoyed getting ice cream daily from the ice cream parlor. If you need to take your loved one anywhere this is the place to go. They have a wonderful rehab team, caring staff and the amenities are above and beyond what other nursing facilities have to offer.
