David and all the staff were so kind and took care of my family in a kind, caring, and respectful way. I place great trust in everything that they do. Thank you to everyone who helped create such a wonderful goodbye for my grandmother, Blanche Rae Skinner Decker.

We recently lost our mother and Miller and Vanessendeft handled her memorial service. David made everything as easy as possible for us. He was very professional but also sympathetic. He actually did more than we even expected. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

My father recently passed away. Miller & Vanessendelft Funeral assisted our family with his burial arrangements in Hertford, NC. David was very accommodating while working with us, helping guide us through the decisions necessary to provide a dignified, respectful service. Because of Hurricane Florence making landfall on the East Coast of North Carolina, my father’s services had to be postponed until roads were cleared and reopened. David worked around our timeline. The service for my father was beautiful and seamless from the chapel at Miller & Vanessendelft to the graveside. I do not believe there is anywhere or anyone else we could have worked with that would have provided a higher level of service in my father’s hometown. I am thankful and appreciative for the help we received with such an unfamiliar process during an emotional time.

I would like to express my gratitude to Miller & Vanessendelft for their kindness and generosity to our family during a horrible loss of a infant child Corey Wallace Matthews Jr. We were treated with much respect and kindness, their professional manner was outstanding. It was as tho they experienced a loss as well. They were very generous with a wonderful gift of a beautiful small urn for my precious grandsons ashes. I would highly recommend them for your needs in a tragic time. Thanks again for all you did for our family, it will always be remembered!!!
