Person County Museum of History

Really enjoyed the history of Roxboro, and this little town has alot of it.

They had a dinosaur themed event that we went to last year that our girls thoroughly enjoyed. It was well set up with lots of opportunities indoors and outdoors to learn about dinosaurs. They had a paleontologist on hand to speak to guests and answer any questions about the artifacts she had on display. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We plan to visit and view the rest of the museum again.

We had a wonderful time experiencing life in the past! My 9-year-old grandson was very interested in all the things he saw. Being a Titanic enthusiast, he LOVED the Titanic displays. Great staff! Very knowledgeable! Will be going again!

I enjoyed this more than I ever thought. I would my families from town . I went there just for some time to kill and I learned a lot, and I stayed a lot longer than I thought. I would. It was the people working there made it very interesting and they were very knowledgeable, we did the titanic display across the street. Also it was very very interesting. I really would recommend this to anybody who comes to person county for vacation

Loved red, white & blue decorating gazebo for July 4th holiday. Historic sign for the Roxboro tobacco market on side of tobacco barn. Nice area to park & walk even when museum building is closed. The mature trees are awesome
