Beautiful facility!! Walking trails, 2 grottos, a waterfall and a beautiful main lodge. The cottages are well appointed, roomy and comfortable. A hidden jewel in Rockingham County!!

St. Francis Prayer Springs hosts retreats, conferences, and learning sessions as well as providing space and time to individuals for private meditative and rest time. Though, Fr. Louis Canino OFM, the inspiration for and director of the Prayer Center since the early 2000s retired in early 2020, the Center retains its charisma and simplicity. The Center and its staff welcome, with reservations, people of all faiths. I look forward to my yearly group retreat at the center, and enjoy other periods at the Center like time before Christmas at which a small group ponders the meaning of this beloved feast day and holiday.

St Francis Springs Prayer Center is a spiritual oasis for me. The Staff, the food, the accommodations are superb. Father David & Anne make you feel right at home. Safety measures during the pandemic made me feel safe. I felt God's presence all weekend long in my retreat.

I met someone at the retreat center for lunch after the individual finished a retreat. The place does group retreats and individual retreats. It has woods, trails, labyrinths to enjoy and experience. It has a guest lodge and also very cute individual cabins. Very cool place.

A beautiful, quiet, relaxing place for spiritual rejuvenation. Both the chapel in the center and the smaller 'crystal' chapel in the woods were lovely. There are nice trails in the woods with many places to pause for meditation or prayer. Meals provided were simple but good. The staff was very helpful.
