Engaging every week in the same liturgy practiced in the early church, worship at RAC is a balm to the soul in our ever-changing world. Each service culminates in the Eucharist, nourishing us as a family to take God’s love to our own corner of the world. Having experienced a year-long illness, I know personally the comfort and care of the community at RAC. Even through the pandemic, meals, notes, emails, and calls were frequent. Father Joshua would come sit on my porch, social-distanced and masked, to hear me cry, tell me it would all be ok, pray for me, and administer communion. I am very grateful to belong to a church that is a true family.
I am blessed to be at Resurrection Anglican. Here you find a community of sincere, devout and loving Christians who are genuinely bound together in the sacramental life of the Church. My family and I moved to the area from the Midwest in 2020 and immediately found a family at Resurrection. My own spiritual life has grown immensely under the careful and loving direction of Fr. Joshua and Fr. Jeremy. Please visit and experience the presence of Christ.
As one of the priests and rector of Resurrection Church I am amazed at the solid Christian family of faith that I encounter each time I am with the congregation. They are a group of people that chase after God's heart with all their heart, soul, and mind. We invite you to experience a church that is Biblical, Sacramental, and Liturgical.
For years I have been on a quest to find a place of true, genuine, authentic God-centered worship. I have been to many great churches throughout the course of my journey, but the Lord steered me here. This is a church family that acknowledges that we are ALL broken individuals in constant battle with the world and that our sins are forgiven through the Grace of God. We hold each other accountable by keeping in step with the Gospel and our Sacraments. It’s a place we go to to impart love, fight our battles and first and foremost, worship the Lord Almighty. It is a place for questions, answers, growth and guidance that all lead us straight to the Lord. The Lord is doing a mighty work and I am grateful He guided me here!
As a former Evangelical pastor I felt a warm welcome home coming into God’s Catholic Church. The liturgy, the Sacraments, the people, and the Word provide a God centric environment that offers each individual an opportunity to come to know God in a tradition grounded in the ancient church and Scripture.
