We looked for help in all the wrong places UNTIL Capstone. If you want professional, specialized, trained, accountable, and authentic support and healing for your troubled son, THIS IS THE PLACE. Insurance is filed on your behalf and resources are available to possibly help with cost. Your son will be in contact with his counselor and have group sessions many times during each week. Your son’s counselor will work with your family to work through the trauma of having a situation in your family where you can’t do it at home. Follow-up therapy, a tune-up weekend, continued yearly reunions, availability to stay in touch for guidance and consultations are just some of the features of Capstone. The director has done his own work and so have the counselors. A strong counselor must first know his or herself to assist others in their journey. My son asked to be baptized while at Capstone and this is a spiritual community: however, a young man must dig deep into his soul and in dealing with anger, addiction, loss, and grief, our son was not ready to accept God until he could accept and forgive himself. When I entered this facility I thought…. I KNEW there was no help for me. I would be this way for the rest of my life. “This way”…addicted. I am not cured. Capstone Recovery shows you, directs you, teaches you was to live your life differently… to see yourself honestly, through the eyes of your father… God. I have been clean and sober 6 years in January. You come away with the ability, the knowledge to help yourself everyday, with the help of God to continue with a new heart and a renewed spirit to maintain a healthy and happy sober life.
