“Walgreens in Salisbury is definitely having growing pains. Accumulating Rite Aids customers has been a heavy burden on the staff. Yes, I have experienced long wait times. Yes, I have had prescriptions that are lost in the system or unable to be filled because the medicine is on back order. And yes, I have had the texts saying my order was ready for pick up when in fact it was not. HOWEVER, the staff has almost always been polite and professional and on occasion have gone above and beyond to serve my family. Occasionally I do get an employee that is not trained very well but that is to be expected with the heavy traffic. The employees at this store deal with rude and impatient customers all day! If you went in to work knowing that you would be told over and over how awful you are while trying your very best every day while dealing with a system that sets you up for failure, you would probably be discouraged. The pharmacists here deal with not having enough staff or enough time to fill all of the prescriptions they get in a day. They deal with a computer system that needs a lot of improvement. They deal with having to much work and they do an AWESOME job handling their duties! Instead of complaining do yourself and the community a favor and call corporate and request a 24 hour pharmacy in Salisbury. Let corporate know that their employees are doing a great job but need more help or more time to properly serve Walgreens customers. I’m not affiliated with Walgreens in any way. I just feel bad for the people that work here and the community and think we need to work on a real solution.”

“I was in Family Dollar today and asked the cashier for assistance. I wish I knew her name, I tried to find it on my receipt but it was not on there. She was short with dark brown hair and had it in a ponytail. I remember seeing “Cei” on her name tag but the rest was covered up. Anyway, as soon as I asked her a question (it wasn’t that important), she got EXTREMELY BUSY. She told me she would come out and help me asap. The line never stopped for the next 15 minutes. I decided to go ahead and get in line and not worry about my issue since she was so busy. I ended up being the last customer at that time. She cheerfully remembered that I asked her for help and came right out to help me. She never hesitated and had a great attitude. She helped me so much and made my day so much easier than if I had not had her help. Thank you so much!”
