This is made to order food at its best. Even at 2pm on a Saturday the potatoes were fresh! The pintos are not canned, the Okra was fried perfectly, and the hamburger steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The baked macaroni and cheese was great as well. We didn't have room for desert, but they looked great. To top it all off, the service is pleasant and feels like home. You can tell the owner really cares about what she serves! I cannot wait to cone back!
My family and I came from South Carolina to dine at Lillie Ann. I must say that the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was hot and looked scrumptious. I can’t forget about how welcoming the owners were. Their customer service was amazing! This restaurant is one that we will definitely visit again.
The fried chicken was great! The Philly was really good too.
Had the pleasure of meeting Dawn who is one of the owners and runs this family business alongside her husband. The restaurant is named after her mom and mother in law.
Southern hospitality reflects in the food portions and service. I ordered the fried gizzard and liver along with candied yam and fried okra. Not something I eat all the time and was missing it. The party at my table also ordered some fried chicken, Mac n cheese and a burger with fries. Everything was excellent. I had to take some to go.
The place was recommended to us by another business and it did not disappoint.
Since we were visiting from out of town we may not become frequent patrons but will always remember the food and hospitality.
Service was excellent as I was promptly greeted upon entry. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely fantastic. Since this was my first visit it wasn't about a protein, starch and vegetable balance...it was all about the faves and if they meet my tastebud expectations. I must say my tastebuds were enlightened! I had meatloaf, mac & cheese and fried okra. I loved it all and will most definitely return for different items on the menu.
