My husband and I moved to NC from CA after having visited the Raleigh area in October. The amount of building and growth in the 6 months from when we visited to when we arrived was astounding. We didn't want to be around that as we were seeking a calmer life, less traffic, etc. We were trying to figure out where we were going to land when Shannon entered our lives.
