“Dr. Kulits has been my Ophthalmologist since 2021. I chose him when my Ophthalmologist retired during Covid. I was told I had to go to a practice in Winston-Salem. He is the only local Ophthalmologist residing and practicing in Stokes and Surry Counties. He does my Diabetic & Comprehensive Medical Eye Exam each year, testing for Cataracts, Glaucoma and everything Diabetics should be aware of. He has advised me how to improve my blood sugar control and protect my eyesight with proper nutrition from regular foods. He’s helped me with dry eyes, and puffiness of my eyelids. He is always considerate and kind to me and I’ve heard him interact the same way with patients 40 years younger than me and 20 years older than me. Yes, he does take our insurance. Yes, every procedure is done here in King. This is my 3rd year seeing him with no change needed to my prescriptions. I’m thankful for Dr. Kulits and his practice here in King.”

Always clean, well lit, good prices, good gas, great coffee including a Kureg with multiple choices for any hour of the day, private 1 room bathroom that's always clean and with Real Tree accents, very stylish and fitting for the country area. One of the biggest selections of drinks in the county. Propane, firewood, charcoal, and other necessities are available for your camping needs. Fishing bait, bobbers, and other asscessories for fishing. The Hunt's Pizza shop here makes ready to go slices available at the register and they also take orders and make excellent pizza. There are benches outside that are perfect to stop and enjoy a coke and hot slice of pizza, let your bikes cool, dry off from the local Dan River, or just to sit back and watch the back country scene. And don't let the look of the locals fool you, they are friendly and will help you with directions or even a flat tire!”

“Just want to say how great team Mike and Ken are here. They are the best! Both have years of experience working on campers at a well known dealership. They can and will do the smallest or the largest jobs you need. Their shop is huge so they can keep to your camper inside for the duration of the work. Repairs, replacements, routine maintenance, additions, inspections from roof to belly and end to end. They are meticulous in the work. It doesn’t go until it passes all inspections; theirs and yours. They explain all that has been done and how it works. Keep the customer abreast of all work status. Best of all the prices are great. When it’s ready to go it gets a good bath on the house. We trusted them with several tasks. They delivered! They are big enough to serve all your camper needs and small enough to be your friend. We will always go to them 1st with every need. “Love going to Chick-fil-A. 🙂 I especially enjoy the extra flavor ( white peach...last time it was watermelon mint) they put in the sun joys. It would be great if they could put it in tea as well. Now on to the reason this review only got 4 out of 5 stars. It was the long wait in the drive thru. I understand it was raining and I guess y'all were doing something new. I waited 10 minutes before I finally got to order. Dispite that though, I was overall a pretty happy customer.”

“Brought Jovanny a pretty delicate mid century wire chair frame that had been very poorly patched by another welder. He took care of it immediately and did an absolutely phenomenal job! This was no small task considering the number and intricacy of the welds required as not to distract from the appearance of the chair. Will most definitely be doing further business and would not hesitate to recommend him for any welding or fabrication work.”

The weather: beautiful, the venue: beautiful, the accommodations: beautiful, the food: delicious (we got so many compliments on it). I love that you are able to choose between the two venues which one you prefer! Daniel was more than helpful in answering his cell and email answering all of our questions and allowing us to use the buildings as we needed in any shape. We used all three cabins as well as the Lodge Rooms and that was an AMAZING feature of this venue. I have a very large family and the Red Cabin and the Hanging Rock Cabin were used for them and the groomsmen stayed overnight at the Green Cabin! They loved it! My favorite feature though, was the Bridal Suite. It was very spacious and accommodated me and my large party. However, I believe if the bride and let's say 6-7 other bridesmaids were to get ready in there, it would be a little cramped. It also wasn't that amazing to have to share the bathroom with the guests that were trickling in after a long drive that saw me pre-ceremony. But overall, that is the only small criticism I have! The pictures I attached hopefully show you the potential that Luna's Trail has to offer.”

“I trained with Sensei Steven several years ago before I moved out of state. After checking out the other martial arts school that were in town (if you want to call it that) where the instructor had his students self promote him I found Sensei Steven. I must say he has the most extensive martial arts background and experience, far beyond anyone or martial art school in the area. He has the history and documentation to prove he is what he says he is as well as the winnings from tournament competition that both he and his students have achieved. When I visited the other martial arts school he would not show me any of his background and deflect the conversation, that was red flag for me. Sensei Steven answered all my questions and showed me his past instructors and training. This dojo is the only traditional karate school in King. You will not find a better one in the area. It may be small and that is to the advantage of the student in that you get personal instruction from Sensei Steven himself, not some child or teen teaching you as I saw in comparison with the other one in town. That's what I like about Sensei Steven, was the personal instruction and correction. His standards are high and he expects you to earn your belt, that you will if you put in the effort. If you want quality and professional instruction this is the dojo to train at.”
