(March 9, 2018, 9:05 pm)I thoroughly enjoyed myself in my class this past Wednesday (3/7). I felt that my life was enriched and the instructor was very authentic. I was also trained with a few offensive and defensive methods in Karate. Sensei Phillip is an amazing teacher. This first lesson will stay with me my entire life and I am looking forward to the next class! Thanks

(April 4, 2016, 6:26 pm)Great karate training. Sensei Philip motivates students to push themselves, do their very best, and increase their skill level. He is always positive and encouraging for all age students. I was skeptical and concerned that Eastern religion / philosophy might be taught with the karate. Thankfully, Sensei Philip does not teach anything but karate in an atmosphere of encouragement and respect.
(January 22, 2014, 5:35 pm)Toma Dojo is the best! We toured 4 studios over 2 years ago and chose Toma Dojo. We knew the others just would not compare and we were right! Sensei's program is rigorous and focused but lots of fun. It builds great endurance and is an awesome work out!
(January 21, 2014, 1:52 pm)My oldest daughter started taking karate at Toma Dojo during the summer of 2009. Shortly after, Sensei Phil convinced me that I should join into a class. I never looked back. Now all 4 of our family members are learning, and we couldn't be happier. We are healthier, more confident and most important to me, karate has given me and my daughters a way to relate and spend time together.
