(June 26, 2023, 4:53 pm)Service was inconsistent, but it wasn't too busy. Food and drinks were exceptional, especially considering that it's in Henderson, and I am comparing to the dozens of Latin restaurants available in Raleigh.
(January 5, 2023, 3:07 pm)I really enjoyed my visit to Mezcalito and was very pleasantly surprised by a menu of great dishes, unlike the so-so average menu fare at other local places in the area. The drinks/beverage menu was extensive and sophisticated and the bar area had plenty of seating for those popping in for a drink.
I ordered the shrimp ceviche which was fresh and a serving so large it would feed three or four people. The salad bowl with shredded chicken was delicious and I couldn't finish it.
The service was great and the server returned regularly to check up on me.
If you're passing through on the I-85, it's worth the stop!
(December 27, 2022, 12:37 am)Always a great experience! The food is great, the drinks are strong & the service is top notch. We’ve only ever sat at the bar so I can’t speak to the table service but the bartender is always very attentive. 10/10!
