We are very pleased and satisfied with our Stanton home, and enjoying it very much. From the beginning, Elizabeth found a plan that would work with our budget and the design we wanted. Stan worked with us on customizing the plan to meet our preferences and needs. We had challenges with the lot and septic approval, all of which were overcome. Our project managers, first Phil, then Spencer, were exceptionally easy to work with. They both possess a great deal of knowledge and always knew the answer to a question. Always gracious and professional in answering our seemingly endless questions and concerns. And Andrea understood the style we were looking for and steered us in the right direction with selections. Of course, there are others working behind the scenes, or on the scene as it were, and we appreciate their hard work and effort as well.

When we decided to build a custom home, everyone we knew told us that with a certainty, we’d end up hating our builders. With Stanton Homes, however, we found an extension to the family and they built a house in partnership with us.

From the moment we got in touch with our sales-person, we were surprised by the honesty and transparency. Instead of the expected response of “it depends” to the “how much?” question, instead we were quickly given a detailed price based on prior jobs and contracts. At this point we started browsing more floor plans until we found one that would meet our family needs and started customizing.

Having previously spent significant money with an architect on renovation plans, we were extremely surprised at the value of our package with Stanton. Plan modifications and engineer’s drawings were all included with our deposit (and a fraction of the price we paid for our prior architect!).

Overall, working with Stanton Homes felt like a true partnership - at every step of the process they had OUR best interests in mind and never stopped being accommodating and helpful. Despite the coldest winter (and snows) of recent years and 2 of the wettest months on record in the spring, we managed to hit our target date of August. From start to finish in around 12 months and less than 9 months from when we started clearing the trees (this was a larger build of 4800+ sq ft).

We can’t say enough good things about working with the Stanton Homes team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Everyone who has come into the house has commented on what a well-built and solid house it is. It also has the “wow factor” and has had many compliments.
