Update! We got a new Great Pyranees pup for our pack! We called Elaine to schedule Stuart's training! Stuart is 10 months old and 150+ lbs. Elaine had him following commands on and off leash quickly! By the time we picked Stuart up he was ready for us to work with him. What a pleasure it was for my daughter and I to work with Elaine this time! Stuart is doing so well! We highly recommend her residency training. Again and again! We now have 3 very large stubborn fluffy loveable beasts that are eager to listen and show good manners daily!
    Previous post:
Elaine took excellent care and training of our 10 month old Great Pyranees pups. We were AMAZED at what she accomplished with these two fluffy beasts in 2 short weeks! We are now trained in how to communicate with our pups for a lifetime of enjoyable walks and adventures! What a pleasure the dogs are to be around! No more pulling on the leash, excessive barking or counter surfing! We are enjoying them so much more and the dogs are happier and more relaxed! So worth it! Highly recommend Elaine's training! I actually saw a very well behaved Great Pyranees and asked who trained her dog? That's how I found Elaine!

It’s been almost one month since our dog, Shea completed her residency training program with Elaine and we are over the moon with the results. We witness the positive change in Shea’s behavior every day and it’s still hard to believe that this is the same dog. Shea has very high prey drive and our walks were always a struggle to stay focused and on task. This is no longer an issue. We look forward to our walks!! Shea was also very flighty and any chance she got she’d zoom right past us to run. Now I can open our front door again without having to make sure I have cover for our very fast girl. Shea respects the doorway and will sit and watch me open the door without even a flinch. I loved my one on one sessions with Elaine as well. I learned so much and practice everyday to keep Shea and I consistent. I’ll admit as an owner I was a part of the issues too but thanks to Elaine we won’t be going back to our old ways. Shea has responded beautifully to the residency program and as a family we are thankful! !

We worked with Elaine a few years ago with our puppy. We had such wonderful outcomes that we have recommended her to numerous friends (and two have completed training with the same success we have enjoyed).

Today as we were exploring the woods behind our house with her off leash, I was reminded of how Elaine changed our life with this dog. Because of the training for the dog (and us!) our dog is great with visitors, well behaved on walks on her leash, and an absolute joy to be off leash in the woods. She gets to explore when she is on “break” and checks with us to make sure she is staying with her pack.

We so enjoyed our beautiful fall afternoon thanks to Elaine.

I've had the pleasure to watch Carolina Dog Training's process up close. Elaine is remarkable in her ability to train difficult or misbehaving dogs in very short order. More than that, her process can help an owner define what misbehaving looks like and in doing so, reestablish a healthy relationship with their dog. Whether a dog is clearly misbehaving or even just in need of subtle guidance, you should absolutely reach out to Carolina Dog Training!

What a wonderful experience from day one. We knew our rescue pit mix pup was super smart but she was out of control with rough play and demanding attention. After two weeks with Elaine she is in control of her energy and looks to us, her pack leaders, for direction. We are confident we can take her anyplace and even off leash she follows her commands like the champ we knew she could be. Thank you Elaine for your continued guidance and advice as we continue to learn.
