I just wanted to give you an update on how things are going.

We have since purchased a truck and are now looking at purchasing a home. I am so glad that we filed. It was the best thing that we could have done. Being debt free and rebuilding credit is a lot easier than trying to pay back and build your credit. Thank you and the team for all your help.

This is the actual email that I sent to the office. The staff here is friendly and professional. They have a way of letting you know that you are in good hands. Bankruptcy can be scary because of all the negative impacts to your credit, but I can surly tell you that within 6 months I was in a financial place of freedom that I had never been. My credit score increased by 30 points after I was discharged and I hadn't done anything!

This is how easy it was. Go online and provide the information for the initial phone interview. My initial phone interview was with a lady named Tara. She was very pleasant and professional. I really enjoyed the interview. I answered all her questions so she could determine my eligibility. She answered all my questions as well and gave me a run down of the payment options. The next step was to read over the contract, get it signed and get it back to the office. This was all done via email. I chose to pay all in one lump sum, which included all court filing fees. One payment and no more worries about any additional money outlays.

The most difficult step in the whole process is gathering the required documentation and making sure you answer all the questions on the questionnaire accurately. You've got to go through your records and pull out dates and amounts and such. Don't let it overwhelm you. Just treat it like a checklist. Go through one item at a time and once you're done, check it off. Then go to the next item and keep going until you're finally done.

Kelli was the paralegal on my case. I could not have asked for anyone more professional. She was always on the ball and always had an answer. I asked a lot of questions. But nothing seemed to stump her and there was always a quick response. I hand delivered the completed questionnaire and other documentation and everything else was done via email. Email is what I prefer, but they can accommodate you in whatever way works best for your situation.

Once the court documents are prepared, they are returned via email for review. Make sure you check the documents over thoroughly and point out any corrections that might need to be made. Once everything looks good, sign and initial. Then comes the Court filing.

You file, get your case number and then wait for the Meeting of the Creditors. Due to COVID-19, the meeting is done over the phone. I filed on 1-27-21, had my Meeting of the Creditors 3-4-21 and got my discharge 5-6-21.

There are two classes you will have to take, one before filing and the other after filing and that's it folks.

You can have a new beginning, you just have to make a decision and follow through. Just do it!
