The Mason Jar Tavern

Aways good. My favorite is the turkey melt. The mixed drinks are different from the normal offering and very tasty. Love the strawberry jalopeno margaritas but tried the apple cinnamon mule this last time and was NOT disappointed.

My wife and I drive all the way from Northwest Raleigh and pay for the tolls on 540 just to come to Mason Jar. It's become one of our weekend go-to favorites and it's always on the list of stops when we have friends and family in town.

Big fan of the Apple Pie Margarita (which doesn't have tequila so is it really a margarita...????) and the dessert flight!

First fish and chips my hubby has had in the US in 2 years that was a hit.
Service was great and my girls loved the auto refills of their water and soft drinks without asking. I enjoyed the cocktails 😁.
First time in a long time that all of us had a great meal on the same night eating out. And to add, great portions at great prices. A good mix of menu which also allowed my one child to have a vegetarian option.

It is s nice local restaurant bar. Local beer, good flavors, nicer people serving. They always serve a great amount of fries, so do not worry if you are not completely full with your main dish.
