“I love the way Ms.Newsome interacts with my child. She keeps my kiddo engaged in the process, gives her tools and skills to manage daily life and stressors. She does fun things at the end of the session to keep them wanting to come back. If my kiddo is not wanting to attend, she quickly engages her and the session goes on without any troubles. She is client focused and checks in with you as a parent for anything that has come up, behavior changes, routine changes, ect. However her focus is on my child, which is okay because the therapy is not for me. Ms.Newsome will incorporate the parent as needed and earns the respect of the client. She has been very helpful in realigning thought patterns, coping skills, and navigating the struggles of peer relationships.”
