Carolina Gynecology PA

This was my first visit to Dr. Andrea Torsone and Carolina Gynocology. I’ve never been a fan of doctors and medical settings, but have gone through obligatory annual checkups etc., to ensure I tried to do my part in my own health. That said, I’ve rarely been terribly impressed by general office and bedside manner. Today, was a refreshing difference. I walked in expecting “same old.” What I received was a pleasant, warm greeting from the office manager at check-in, to the warm and friendly nurse who took me through phase I before the actual Gynocology visit, to Dr. Torsone who arrived ahead of time, with a direct, no-nonsense, objective manner which made me feel immediately at ease. I felt like this staff were problem-solvers, responsive, kind, and results-oriented. They didn’t shovel me around, rush me out, or ignore my concerns. Dr Torsone listened to me, followed-up with relevant questions, and delivered quality care in a timely and informative manner. (Kudos also to the technician/ultrasound expert who was equally wonderful and caring- felt immediately at ease with her). While I don’t know what’s wrong with me yet, I do know these professionals care about the patient experience and getting me back to health and wellness. All this and my annual physical wellness exam- go do your preventive care and visit Dr. Torsone and staff- you are worth it and they make you feel that way. I am a fan! I went to this office for the first time yesterday and the front desk lady, nurse and doctor were all so kind! I did not like the other gynecologist I went to, and I was referred here. I had questions about fertility and didn’t have major concerns but the doctor made me feel super comfortable and allowed me to ask the questions I did have!

I have had an irrational fear of going to a gynecologist for quite some time and finally decided to be an adult and go. Yes, it was my first time. I am so glad this was my first experience. Making an appointment was very easy - you get reminders via email and the ability to check in ahead of time to save office paperwork. The office itself is welcoming from when you first come in and the check in staff was extremely friendly. I had such a great experience with not only my nurse but also Dr. Torsone. Both were very personable, reassuring, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and the procedure itself was quick and easy. They not only talked to me about medical information but also were genuinely interested in my personal life. I can’t say enough good things about this office and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great gyno.

I have been under the care of Dr. Torsone for several years and have always had a pleasurable experience. She is a very knowledgeable and compassionate physician who takes the time to get to know her patients. The office staff are excellent! I absolutely give 5 stars!

The absolute best doctors office experience I've ever had. The office is extremely comfortable with plush seating, dim lighting, calming decor, and quiet calming music. The staff is friendly and the doctors are knowledgeable and answer questions thoughtfully and don't make you feel rushed.
