Wake Orthopaedics

My experience at Wake Med was so rewarding. I had a fall and I really thought there would be no help with my injury. I had the best treatment experience. I am so pleased at my recovery.

I saw Dr. Curtis Hanson. I rate him as 5+ stars. He was informative caring and answered my questions straight forward. He showed concern and took new x-rays to review with me. I am glad I have chosen Dr. Hanson to do my hip surgery. He was thorough and courteous and I've only heard good things about him being an excellent surgeon. An MRI and then I'll be setting a date for surgery. Thank you Dr. Hanson for easing my anxiety about this surgery and taking the time to answer my questions and going over the issues with my hip. I am glad I chose Dr. Hanson as my orthopedic surgeon.

I am a physician (a surgeon). I have referred multiple patients (and friends and neighbors) to Dr. Mark Wood in the past. I finally saw him this week as a patient myself. He is knowledgeable, experienced, calm/cool in demeanor and approach, and an absolutely excellent and outstanding physician. I would trust any of my relatives to his care.

This is a great practice of Dr.'s - however you cannot get a person on the phone, they don't call back when they say they will. I had an MRI, Dr. told me to call and schedule as soon as the MRI was complete. I have an issue that will need surgery. I have been waiting for almost a month to get in to see the Dr. In the meantime I am in x-stream pain, and find it very difficult to walk. when I finally got the confirmation for my appoint. they made it for the Cary office and did not tell me. I am no where near Cary, and for the past 4 years I only gone to the one on Falls Of Nuese. Now once again, I cannot get anyone to talk to me. just message machine and once in a while an email from the admin. with no real answer to your questions. I need this taken care of and can't get ahold of anyone. Other than that the Doctors are awesome.
