City Barbeque

Awesome environment, excellent food. Prices were great given the quality and quantity of food. I ordered the city sampler and left with a doggy bag. The turkey was exceptionally juicy and flavorful, the brisket was very good. I saved the sausage for later. Their mac and cheese is one of the best in America. I ordered the collards and pork as my other side.... and I bet you twenty that the cook came from within 30 miles of Johnston County. Absolutely perfect

I had the city sampler with macaroni and baked beans. The pulled pork was really good and didn't need sauce. The brisket was decent(not the best and I've had worse). I don't really care for sausage but it tasted good the few bites I had. The macaroni and cheese tasted amazing, probably could eat a large amount of it! The baked beans and toast were solid, nothing spectacular. Overall it was good eat and will return in the future.

The BEST BBQ we've had in NC and we've been searching. My husband was so happy (and he's HARD to please). The staff was so nice and helpful. The chicken and brisket practically melted in our mouths. The sides were good, which is rare because most BBQ places focus on the meat! I had the ribs (chef's kiss). I really have no complaints. This will definitely be our go to spot for BBQ. It was worth the hour drive!

Very good food and we enjoy eating here. Just note that after 8pm, they frequently run out of food items on the menu. Good ribs and chicken! And the best potato salad I have ever eaten (in my opinion).
