(August 7, 2023, 4:57 pm)4.5 ⭐️ - Have not been here in many years, nice to see it packed and thriving. Used to frequent often when I lived in Raleigh and they had first opened.
Sat at the bar and had a nice Crank Arm IPA & the Mexican flag dinner entree. Service was fantastic, keep up the great work!
(July 17, 2023, 12:09 pm)The pork-pineapple tacos were very tasty and the steak quesadilla was also good. First time we had coconut rice, which was delicious. Our server was attentive. You will find the place to be decorated with lots of lighted stars, mannequins, and Day of the Dead stuff. Outdoor seating is offered. We SAT inside due to the heat. It's somewhat dark inside - blends in with the theme.
(June 6, 2023, 10:55 pm)Excellent service and delicious food. Great ambiance. Large selection. Food was delivered quite fast. Drinks were above par! Great murals on walls and dressed up mannequins to boot! Loved every aspect of this place.
(May 14, 2023, 3:20 pm)We’ve dined at Gonzas since the first week they opened. Our family has celebrated more birthdays at this restaurant cumulatively than any other restaurant in Raleigh.
You can’t go wrong here. Gonza is one of the most sincerely compassionate owners in the area. They care strongly about their guests, their staff, the celebrations they host.. and their food.
The food is amazing, and there’s not a bad choice on the menu. Only Great, Better, Best.
I recommend the Plantain!
(March 26, 2023, 8:22 pm)Loved this place! Quick and attentive service, awesome atmosphere, and yummy food. The chips and guacamole were amazing. I loved the chicken tacos, and my boyfriend enjoyed the Mexican flag.
