North Raleigh Pediatrics has been a saving grace as a first time mother. They are so patient and caring toward the children, and just as patient and caring toward the parents. All of the doctors are willing to slow down and educate. We have had the best medical experience there that we have ever seen. We moved an hour away and will still be forever dedicated to the practice and especially Dr. F and Dr. Kirwin. I truly trust their medical expertise with my daughters life!

I can’t say enough positive things about North Raleigh Pediatrics. Dr. Frerichs is an ideal pediatrician, especially for first time parents. He gave us his cellphone number (which I have already used several times) and always fits us in no matter what the concern is. He is gentle, wise, and compassionate. Exactly the kind of doctor you would want caring for your child.

The lactation consultant, Lindsay, is an angel! I have always felt supported and comforted by her even when my breastfeeding journey came to an early end.

Wonderful care for my family! Dr Susan is the most nurturing and knowledgeable doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. I am a mother of two daughters and I am so grateful they are in the care of such an incredible Doctor. My oldest daughter is 10, and suffers from anxiety. Susan has such a way of making her feel comfortable and at ease, by breaking down and explaining things. If I need to contact her incase of an emergency, she is there for me right away!

My daughter has been a patient here for over the past year. After not finding a pediatrician that we were comfortable with, we decided to try NRPG, even though it is a 30 minute drive for us. We are very very thankful for finding this amazing practice. The attention to detail, personal touch, and willingness to work with the multiple specialists my daughter requires is priceless. The personal touch and welcoming environment start at the front desk and continues throughout the entire practice. The providers (Susan Kirwan, and Dr. Frerichs) listen, asks questions, and work with us to provide the best care possible. Growing up in a medical household, I learned the difference between OK, good, and excellent medical care. NRPG provides excellent medical care.

We have been a part of NR Pediatric Group since our oldest was a newborn, over 5 years ago. We have always felt like family at this practice. We adore Dr F, and feel like he truly cares for our boys and their well being. We recently visited this past weekend for a sick visit and met the new NP, Susan. She was wonderful!! So thorough, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She even called the next day-herself-, to check on our baby boy! I was so thankful for that, and we are so happy and impressed to have her on staff now as well. We walk in and the front desk staff knows us and our boys by name, they are basically friends ☺️😬. The nurses and back staff always ask how everyone in our family is doing. If you are looking for a medical “home” for your kiddos, then this is the place. We drive 20+ minutes to get here, and it is worth every second. We love this place and can’t imagine better care for our precious cargo.
