Wake Forest Fire Department Station 1

I hope everyone knows how lucky we are to have the firefighter crew we have here in Wake Forest..

I needed help more than once and I can tell you all were there to lend me a hand..

I am so grateful to have the men and woman serve our community as they do..

Thank you Wake Forest Fire Dept. for helping me in my time of need. I will not forget and will always be grateful!

Was walking & seemed someone was following me. I saw the "Safe Place" sign beside the door I went inside & they were very friendly asked if I was ok & what was going on. They had me sit down for awhile. Then I walked on to my apt.

My youngest is very interested in fire trucks and firefighters. I called the station and asked if I could bring him down and see the trucks. They advised that I could during regular business hours.
The firefighters permitted him to see touch and experience the equipment to the point of exhaustion. They worked hard to keep him safe and the equipment safe as well. A 2 year old will have a tendancy to touch buttons and switches.
They were very enthusiastic about the whole thing. Even when my young son gave their firetruck a hug and told him he did a good job. I loved how open they were and how they worked with him to be safe around the equipment. Thank you!
