“I want to Thank all of the Fire Fighters who responded yesterday (there was a fire in somewhere in the apartment building Level at 401) and I especially want to give a big Thanks to the Fire Fighter who carried my disabled adult Son down the stairs!  I was so frantic yesterday trying to get my Son down the stairs from the fourth floor, that I didn't take the time to see who it was (your name) who actually carried him and I feel ashamed that I didn't even look closely enough to see what your engine number was. So with that being said I'm posting this Thank You on several sites!  Also, please know that I'm also Thanking every single Fire Fighter out there for what you do and what you are capable of doing!  All of the Fire Fighters are amazing and to be capable of not just putting out fires but medical situations, carrying another human being down the stairs, all while you have your gear on plus you always keep your cool and your focus (something I am no longer capable of), okay, I could keep going on and on about all of the actual titles Fire Fighters carry with them daily, but I think you get the picture as to how amazing they are! THANK YOU!”

“I just want to give shout out to Fairview Station 1 for practically saving my life last night. I had a severe allergic reaction to a black ant that bit me 4 times on my arm and besides breaking out into three different kinds of rashes, my throat was getting scratchy and I knew what that meant! My husband saw fire fighters getting out of their truck on our way to the hospital and just pulled over. The crew put me right into the ambulance and hooked me up to several IV's, Benadryl and that helped tremendously but when I got to the hospital all the itching started all over again from head to toe and they ended up giving me an Epi Pen! So thanks so much I will now be the proud owner of my own Epi Pen here shortly! Can't say enough about Colin and the crew who were just angels under pressure!! Thank you so much!! Kim Longest”
