“It’s going to be hard to put into words just how much this delightful preschool and wonderful staff has meant to our family over the two years we sent our child there. Given the severity of my son’s special needs, it was not only difficult to find a place that I could fully trust with his care, but even a school that would accept him. The most lovely director, Kris, welcomed him with open arms and always made sure he was well cared for. The teachers at St. James treated my son like he was their own. They were all like living angels put into our life when we needed support the most. I could never thank them enough times or ways for what they did for us! Being a former public school teacher of 10+ years who has taught pre-k through high school, I have the highest expectations for where I choose to send my children to school. St. James Preschool is one of the best, both for typically developing kids and those with special needs! Because the school is smaller than average, your child will get extra attention from teachers and be in an intimate place that’s much less overwhelming when beginning his or her educational journey. The facility, not to mention, is always clean, well-organized, and well-stocked with developmentally appropriate furniture and educational materials. They have chosen a curriculum that focuses on character, basic preschool concepts, and building community, which are the most crucial elements of a solid preschool education. “This school has a lot to offer. It is a great school for kids interested in technology and engineering, it also has fantastic teachers. The band and arts programs are great too so there is something for everyone. It is safe, the kids are nice, the administration is good. Kids can get involved at many levels, they can even do online classes or classes at Wake Tech for dual credit, you just have to ask. They are very accommodating. The robototics teams and academies are amazing. Also, everyone gets roles in theater, not just the top kids, the director cares about student growth so there may be more opportunity than say Enloe in that regard. There are lots of AP classes and I love block scheduling so students have more opportunity to take a greater variety of classes.”

“Love this place. My granddaughter has been attending for two years now, since she was two. I can't say enough good things about Nicole, Josie, and Jasmine - my granddaughter absolutely loves them. The site is secure, clean and well-run, and Toni and Ivony are very approachable and efficient. The entire staff is engaged and interested. A number of the staff have had conversations with us about my granddaughter's progress and are clearly motivated and driven by these kids. Extracurricular programs are well-promoted and managed. For a six-week period, my grandaughter attended a different daycare center to accommodate a change in my daughter's location, but as nice as the other site was, she was happy to get back to the Children's Courtyard at Matlock Rd. I highly recommend the staff and location.”

“I can't say enough GREAT things about Falls Lake KinderCare, but more specifically the teachers and staff. Our 2 children are enrolled (a toddler and an infant) and I couldn't ask for better care for either of them! The loving nature of Michelle and Christina is unmatched. The number of times one of them have gone out of their way to tend specifically to my child (usually the toddler, of course) is unbelievable. My 2yo was scared to go back to school after COVID, having to be dropped off at the door, greeted by new teachers she'd never met! Michelle told me she brought my daughter into her office to eat her breakfast in familiar company until she had calmed down enough to join her friends. More recently, Michelle heard we were moving to the "big girl bed" and brought my daughter a special surprise if she stayed in her bed that night. We switched to KinderCare from a private facility and there has been NO turning back. The level of attention and love given to the kids, the cleanliness of the building, the responsiveness of both directors and teachers is absolutely amazing. I would recommend Falls Lake KinderCare to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and educational environment for your children. All you hope for is a place where your kids feel close to as loved as they do at home and I can't say I think we would find that anywhere but here!”

Very close to I-40, downtown and NCState. I would rather bring my dog but they are not allowed here. Bring a basic tool set. You'll need it to unclog the drains.”
