Very nice cemetery, however the driveway is rather bumpy. Groundskeepers are great guys!
It's always peaceful going to the field to see my relatives. Deer and Turkey are common frequent sights. I wish they would provide a paver path to my families Graves. It gets muddy there abd hard to visit at certain times. It seems mostly forgotten to as my grandfather hasn't gotten a flag on his medal yet.
Great beauty and history here.
A great cemetery to wander through and look at the monuments.
Many years ago when my now fiance and I were young. We used to come to the cemetary for peace and the darkness. Halloween night we decided to go. Parked on the street walked through the side yard. We were by the oldest scripts there were the bridge used to be. Smoking and just looking around we noticed a giant black dog coming down the hill. We both stopped staring at what we seen. The dog rose to look like a person wearing a black cloak. We were frozen. Couldn't even speak. It watched us and we watched it back for no more than a couple minutes. Then it just disappeared!!! We have told many people about this. Nobody believes us. To this day I've never seen Anything paranormal. Nothing. I wish I could understand what it was. Still bothers me today. Never been so terrified in my life. Will never forget the fear as we both ran holding hands. I still love that cemetary and bring my kids to visit. I do believe that it was something demonic. It reminded me of the devil from Emily rose as he nodded to the priest in his black cloak. Still gives me chills.
