I have been a student of Grandmaster Sumler for over 10 years and been able to learn not only the highest level of karate but also skills that have served me well in other parts of my life. He not only turns out quality martial artist but quality people. I have seen various instructors and martial arts school around the country and without a doubt Sumler's School of Martial Arts is not only Ohio's Finest Martial Arts Academy but one of the finest anywhere period.

Have been with the school for about five years, first as a parent (my sons were both involved) and as an adult student. In both settings easily one of the best decisions my family made. Mr. Sumler is an outstanding teacher and mentor and truly has a gift for working with children at all levels. Not only teaching skills, but instilling confidence and independence along with discipline and self-value. The adult class is always challenging and you always learn something new!! You will also find that Mr. Sumler and Mr. Pringle promote a family atmosphere and are truly invested in the growth of all the students.
