Kristin is an incredible physical therapist! After suffering a life-altering injury, I was very fortunate to be referred to Kristin. Within our first meeting, I knew I was in the right place and felt very comfortable with Kristin’s insights, knowledge and capabilities. She had a true grasp of the complexity of my situation and my goals and developed a plan to get me - and keep me - on the road to recovery. Kristin has an incredible abiltiy to find the cause of the pain or physical problem, and has an amazing array of skills to help address and treat the problem. Truth be told, Kristin is a very big reason I have come as far as I have on this journey. I came to Core Wellness & Physical Therapy to supplement the chiropractic care I was receiving. In addition to lower back pain, I believed that diastasis recti, along with some pelvic floor issues, were contributing to my back pain. My chiropractor, while wonderful, didn't have the skill set to deal with my "women's" issues, so I sought out Kristin after being referred by a neighbor.
I can't say enough about Kristin and the amazing job she does. She helped me understand why my body was having these issues and offered different methods to help alleviate the pain, etc. I was open to trying new things, so I trusted Kristin. She explained each method and what I could expect.
Myofascial release has been my favorite form of therapy, by far. It's offered the most relief and has had the biggest impact on my continued well being.

I have been seeing Kristin at Core Wellness for over a year now. I still remember my first experience with her. She used myofascial release before starting the dry-needling. She explained the process thoroughly and put me at ease every step of the way. She also suggested exercises to increase the efficacy of the treatments. I still visit her for a treatment now and then, but her work (mostly dry needling) has increased my mobility and I highly recommend adding her services to whatever else you are trying for chronic or acute pain.
